Just a short cruise from SUBASE New London to the balmy Caribbean for the usual TORPEX. Nothing like the thrill of shooting fish to remind you of the real mission of the boat. But at the end of the day, despite the beauty of the Caribbean, the occasional smell of salt air, and for those lucky few, the sunshine off the Florida Coast, your bunk was still your bunk, and your only private retreat from the rest of the boat.

At least until you were awakened by the sound of the rack curtain being yanked back!
