A Hearty Bravo Zulu, and Our Gratitude!

Many thanks to the shipmates of the USS HADDO (SSN 604) and especially Ralph Stroede, former champion of the Haddo website, for their generous donation to the USS HADDO (SSN 604) website and the Cold War Boats Association.

Their significant financial contribution recognizes the responsibility the Cold War Boats Association has taken on in maintaining the USS HADDO (SSN 604) website, preserving your memories, your stories, and your photos for not only each of us who served on Cold War boats, but for our children and their children.

Investing their support, they make possible our mission: reconnecting shipmates, preserving Cold War boat history, and honoring the sailors and families who sacrificed so much to bring the Cold War to an end.

The USS HADDO (SSN 604) leads the Fleet in making this possible. I personally thank each and every one of you!

OPSEC Policy

The Cold War Boats Association prohibits the posting of Classified material on the the coldwarboats.org website.

Any documents, photographs, audio or video recordings, or artifacts that are currently considered Classified are not permitted, and will be removed.

Any information that could compromise the operational security of active duty personnel, commissioned ships, or their missions is not permitted, and will be removed.

Access to personally identifiable information (PII) of active-duty service members or information related to the crews of submarines currently in full or limited commission is restricted to administrators only.
