P.O.D.

Scrambling toward the September 1st deadline. Twenty days does not seem like enough time to take care of all that remains to be done, but as Captain Leon J. Uplinger taught me while pursuing my studies in life and leadership on-board the USS William H. Bates, “We’re getting underway on time even if we have to row it away from the pier!”

Two new events added to the schedule for those that are still wondering what to do while you are in Orlando.

Friday, September 1, 1900 - 2100: REGROUPEX 17 Welcome Aboard Mixer - Join us in our comfortable Hospitality Suite for the REGROUPEX 17 Welcome Aboard Mixer. A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered along with light snacks. Cost of this event is included in your paid registration, but we do need to know how many are planning to attend.

Saturday, September 2, 0900 to 1300: REGROUPEX 17 Quilt Store Adventure - Join master quilter Margaret Williamson for the REGROUPEX 17 Quilt Store Adventure. A whirlwind tour of local quilt stores in and around Kissimee and Orlando intended expressly for wives who need a break from our sea stories! Followed by an optional lunch at a local eatery of your group's choosing, the cost of this event is included in your paid registration, but the cost of lunch is not. Please let us know if you are planning to attend.

Please take a few minute, log into the website, and let us know if you are interested in attending these and other events during REGROUPEX. Simple go to REUNIONS >> REGROUPEX 17 >> SCHEDULE OF EVENTS. Select the event you would like to attend, and click the JOIN button at the top of the page.

That’s all there is to it, besides showing up!

See you in Orlando!
