Smooth sailing for the most part, air in the banks, s__t in the tanks, ahead one-third, going that-away.

  • 191 registered users! Bravo zulu to all those tracking down old shipmates. The Missing Shipmate List shrinks every day.
  • REGROUPEX 09 plans continue. We are currently debating renting a suite to have a room to hang out in vs. using one of the banquet/reception rooms.
  • Sea Stories continue to accumulate - just like the boat, it's getting pretty deep!
  • Photos continue to trickle in to the Crew Gallery. You can post yours if you have them.
  • Added a few photos of downtown Perth and the mall to the Photos>>Liberty Ports>>Perth-Rockingham W Australia - 1983 article.
  • New items in the Logroom>>Archive. Shipboard Art, an actual Ship's Qualification Card, and postal covers related to the Bates add to our collection. If you have some memorabilia that deserves a place in the Archives, scan it and mail it to the Administrator. If you need help scanning, or don't have a scanner, contact the Administrator.
  • Don't forget that yourname (at) ssn-680.org email addresses are available. Go up-scale on your email with nothing more than a $25 donation to help maintain the website.
  • Will the person who's been throwing TDU weights overboard during the stores load please report to the XO's stateroom - your mother is waiting!

Any information that could compromise the operational security of active duty personnel, commissioned ships, or their missions is not permitted, and will be removed.

Access to personally identifiable information (PII) of active-duty service members or information related to the crews of submarines currently in full or limited commission is restricted to administrators only.
