MM3(SS) Theodore 'Ted' John Witt • 1956 – 2012

Ted Witt, was born 9 May 1956 and passed away on 1 September 2012. He passed away unexpectedly.

A Menasha, Wisconsin native, Ted was a 1974 graduate of Mehasha High School, and a U.S. Navy veteran. he served for six years in the nuclear submarine program and was stationed in Orlando, FL; Portsmouth, N.H.; and Bremerton, Washington before pursuing a civil service career there.

Ted and his wife, Jacki, were married for 22 years and made their home together, along with their son, Jeremy, in Bremerton, surrounded by woods, water, and nature. Ted's favorive pastime was working outdoors, whether it was clearing a path through the woods or fixing things around the house.

Along with his wife and son, Ted is survived by his mother, Joan, and his brothers, Jerry (Cindi) Witt of Menasha and Jack Witt Jr. of Appleton.

Ted was preceded in death by his father, Jack Witt Sr. and his uncle and aunt, Jerry Oscar and Jean Witt.

Ted was an ELT onboard the USS William H. Bates, and left the boat in Bremerton, WA.
