Welcome to the USS STURGEON (SSN 637) Association and website. Feel free to take a look around, and leave a comment here to let us know you stopped by, and what you liked (or didn't like!).

If you'd like to see more, you are invited to register for full access to the site, which includes thousands of photographs and sea stories from the men who served on the USS STURGEON (SSN 637). See the tab on the right side of your browser window on almost every page.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact your Site Lead or a member of the Staff using the CONTACT US link in the Watch, Quarter, and Station Bill on the starboard side of every page.

In the meantime, the smoking lamp is lit, so grab a cup of joe and relax as you wander around and experience what it was like to serve on one of the most sophisticated submarines dedicated to bringing an end to the Cold War.

This is an example of a comment posted in the SSN 637 Visitors Log. Have comments about the website in general? Kudos? Recommendations ? This is the place for those sort of comments.

Gripes? Bitches? Problems? We have a place for those too, it's just not here. If the FAQs don't answer your questions, and your problem is still unresolved, create a Help Ticket, using the Watch, Quarter & Station Bill in the right hand column of most pages.

Comments about a specific boat? Go to that boat's Home page using the Fleet menus above, and look for a Visitors Log unique to that boat.

Can't find a boat's Visitors Log? I'm not surprised - most boats don't have them yet - file a Help Ticket, and we'll get to it!

So that all said, keep it clean (this is a family-friendly site) and tell us here what you like about the site or what you'd like to see.

We'll be pleased to hear what you're thinking.

The Cold War Boats Association prohibits the posting of Classified material on the the coldwarboats.org website.

Any documents, photographs, audio or video recordings, or artifacts that are currently considered Classified are not permitted, and will be removed.

Any information that could compromise the operational security of active duty personnel, commissioned ships, or their missions is not permitted, and will be removed.

Access to personally identifiable information (PII) of active-duty service members or information related to the crews of submarines currently in full or limited commission is restricted to administrators only.
