SSN 680 Plan of the Day

Night Orders - 1 May 2009

Things have been pretty calm around SSN-680.org the last couple of weeks. Not much activity and no substantial changes to the website. A few new members. A few people registering for REGROUPEX 09.

So...

Get recruiting - each of you knows at least one or two people that haven't registered on the site. Track them down, call them up, and tell them to "Get hot, you dink non-qual!" If each of you finds just one former shipmate, we double the sailing list to 500. And it gets you out of port and starboard, or in the case of our staff, port and re-port. So commit yourself to the effort, and spend an hour on Saturday or Sunday tracking down one old shipmate that you haven't seen registered. When you find him, update the Master Sailing List with your activity and information so we can update our records, and get him on the mailing list.

Last item - REGROUPEX 09. If you are planning to attend, you need to register. We are collecting a nominal fee to cover the cost of the hospitality suite, and a little hospitality. No, not that kind. This is San Diego, not the PI. I promise you, no NIS investigations afterward for anyone contributing anything. Unless Mike, Scott, or Bill get out of line. So if you are planning to attend, pay your $50 registration fee using the Rec Fund Paypal connection in the right column. You don't have to have a Paypal account to use your credit card or check. Just click and pay. I will update your Reunion record to reflect payment, and you can make sure that your record is accurate on our 2009 Reunion >> Attendance Plans page.

That's about all I have for now.

No contacts surface or submerged. Ahead one-third, capable of all bells. Making water. Air, tanks, and trim all sat. Going that-away. Don't screw it up.
