Welcome to the Cold War Boats Association and website. Feel free to take a look around, and leave a comment here to let us know you stopped by, and what you liked (or didn't like!).
If you'd like to see more, you are invited to register for full access to the site, which includes thousands of photographs and sea stories from the men who served on submarines during the Cold War between 1947 and 1992.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact your Site Lead or a member of the Staff using the CONTACT US link in the Watch, Quarter, and Station Bill on the starboard side of every page.
In the meantime, the smoking lamp is lit, so grab a cup of joe and relax as you wander around and experience what it was like to serve on one of the most sophisticated submarines dedicated to bringing an end to the Cold War.

Reset password failure
I tried to reset my password on the 11th of January. The link worked in generating a new password and mailed to my registered email. When Di tried to login with that past, it triggered a danger/wrong password message. The password sequence included capital a “I” character that may be triggering the challenged.Under certain circumstances - a failed login followed by a password reset, for example, a login attempt will show that error message, usually because the cookie created in your browser has not yet expired, so it shows a credential conflict.
No worries - simply attempting to log in again will usually resolve it.
Thanks for noting it - it's on my list of things to explore and resolve - number 1082 or thereabouts. <grin>

Outstanding job Brad! Thanks for setting this up for our future reviews of memories and for assisting quickly to any glitches we encounter. My time on subs
I served on the USS George Washington SSBN/SSN 598G. On my first patrol (the last gold crew patrol) in 1981, we hit and sank the Japanese freighter, Nisho Maru. I stayed with the boat through decommissioning . I then after MM C school and a few weeks on Groton Ct. shore patrol I went to the USS Andrew Jackson SSBN 519 and made 2 patrols before leaving the navy in 1987.Moral Revenge authors interview

This site is a great accomplishment. I look forward to other warriors to check in and register. I will be down in central America (Guatemala) to pickup a 42 foot sailboat I bought. One of the bucket list items that still remains is navigating the Panama Canal. The sailboat is in Rio Dulce (Caribbean side) and my crew and I will transit in December. I will be completing a refit in Pensacola, FL first to complete US Coast Guard EPA regulations. You don`t have permission to comment here!
