As expected from the Silent Service, dark shadows on the USS Swordfish (SSN 579), create an illusion of a disembodied sail, or a ghostly second hull. Location unknown.

The USS Swordfish (SSN 579) sits alone at the pier in SUBASE Pearl Harbor. Off her stern, the Adams class destroyer, USS Goldborough (DDG 20), obscures the hull number of an unidentified Knox or Garcia class frigate.
