STS3(SS) Carl Seitz served onboard the USS HALIBUT (SSGN 587) from 20 JUL 1966 to 30 JUN 1967.
His story includes time spent on fleet smoke boats during high school as part of the US Navy's Sea Cadets program, and being assigned to the nuclear-powered USS HALIBUT (SSGN 587) on entry into active duty service.
